Zurie Betancourt is a Corax who occasionally works with Chance to steal from the Wyrm. She stopped speaking to him after her fiance, Martin Thorsson, was seemingly killed by agents of Magadon Incorporated.
Chance offered Zurie an opportunity to get revenge on Magadon by stealing a rare specimen of naked mole rat from their Genetics Division; Magadon had apparently killed Martin to get their hands on the rat. As Magadon was also experimenting on Garou Kinfolk, they sent a pack of werewolves into the facility as a distraction while they broke into the lab and stole the rat. Afterward, Chance revealed to Zurie that Martin was alive; he had smuggled him to an island in the South Pacific and put him in an enchanted sleep to save his life.
