Grand Arhat Xue is the renowned Kuei-jin philosopher who discovered the five Dharmas. He recorded his teachings in the Blood Sutras.[1]
Xue existed some time during the Third Age, and was part of the first courts of the Kue-jin. He lived a life of such exemplary balance that he became a role model for all other vampires, and was the first to reach Golconda since the fall of the Wan Xian.[2] Xue followed a Dharma that is unknown in modern nights,[3] but he is credited as the founder of the five existing Dharmas.[4]
Xue supposedly had two great disciples: Zao-lat, a Westerner with whom he had a falling out, and Ki, who passed down Xue's teachings for future generations.
Xue's name is allegorical; it supposedly represents both 学, to study, and 血, blood.[2]
