Xarca is a Lasombra of the 4th Generation; during the Dark Ages, she was the "queen" of Marseilles, ranking as one of the most powerful members of her clan, and a rival to Alexander, the Prince of Paris. She was ostensibly one of the many elders of her clan killed in the Anarch Revolt, but secretly survived, and now manipulates the city's Kindred in preparation for her return.
Biography[]
After the Punic Wars, Marseilles came under the control of Roman Ventrue and Lasombra; in the Dark Ages, Xarca emerged as the most influential of the latter, and ruled over the city's Cainites for centuries. At the end of the fifteenth century, however, her underground temple was set aflame by Anarchs of her own clan, resulting in her apparent destruction. In reality, however, Xarca escaped to a secret crypt, and voluntarily entered torpor for approximately five-hundred years, awaiting an opportunity to enact her revenge and retake the city. By the beginning of the new millennium she had partly awoken, and was manipulating a number of vampires—principally Sabbat Lasombra—to prepare for her full awakening.
