Wyldling

Wyldlings are the spirits of the Wyld.

Overview

Wyldings are the children of the Wyld. They prefer to reside in the Deep Umbra, for the Pattern Web has made Gaia too stagnant and permanent for them. They generally appear as constantly shifting maelstroms of matter and energy.

Lesser Wylding

The Rulebooks (First, GURPS, Second, Wild West and Revised) often listed an un-specified "Lesser Wylding" to represent a basic Wyld spirit that Storytellers could use.

While not so powerful as the Vortex, Lesser Wyldlings are nonetheless extremely dangerous spirits. They appear as shifting, hazy patterns. They will sometimes act as spirit guides, but are not to be trusted.
