- German Ventrue had ambitions to conquer the rest of Europe, and with help of the Tremere, they instigated the war against the other clans.
- Eventually, the Tremere knew they were going to loose and abandoned the Ventrue's effort and consolidated in Vienna.
- The Brujah Lions fought during the war and suffered heavy casualties.
- Several vampires lie in torpor beneath the former battlefields of Ypres, Belgium.
