Wauneka is a Nosferatu of the 9th Generation in Chicago.
Biography
Wauneka was a Vietnam veteran. The memories of harrowing experiences during his service hounded him into middle age, driving him to heavy, long-term drug use and abandoning his friends and family. Still much too prideful or self-pitying to bother seeking refuge at a shelter, he made his home in the tent city of Chicago's Lake Shore Drive.
In the mid-1990s, Wauneka was approached by Cedrick Calhoun, who offered him work as an informant in exchange for methadone to manage his drug addiction as well as shelter. The offer was generously extended to his own street family. Agreeing to the terms, Wauneka was ghouled to seal the deal.
For over a decade, Wauneka served Calhoun in this fashion, expanding his skillset in reconaissance and building a network of subordinates as further eyes and ears. Calhoun Embraced him in 2005, and although Wauneka resented the painful and degrading experience of transformation he had to endure, he remained loyal to his sire, who provided him tutelage on how to survive as a vampire. In time, he came to revel in his powers, and was motivated to use them to protect his people as he was to aid his sire in his ambitions for the city.
