Venus Dare, the self-styled "Beat Priestess," owns and operates Club Confession in downtown Los Angeles. The business was opened with a "loan" from Russian mafioso Boris Chekhov. In late 2004, she decided she was longer interested in providing either kind of payment that Chekhov was requesting, and sought out a suitably violent customer to help her rid herself of the shadow of Chekhov hanging over her head.

- Venus appears to be a domme in a BDSM relationship with Fat Larry.
- Venus was originally intended to be Hollywood's baron Isaac Abrams' ghoul: in older versions of the game, her laptop contains email exchanges between Isaac and Venus and information regarding a Sabbat infiltration in Los Angeles. In the Plus version of the Unofficial Patch, this content was moved to a computer in the Chateau Marmont Hotel.
- While she tells you her name is Venus, the name "Dare" only appeared on the laptop prior to its move, and in some early game demos, so her full name is not found in-game in the final release.
- The "And her name was Venus" quest, as seen in a Beta demo[1], read "Prince LaCroix has given you the task of locating Venus Dare and getting information about the recent Sabbat incursion into Los Angeles." This version of Venus still has a British accent, but seems to be voiced by Grey DeLisle-Griffin.
