Logan Acosta is an entomologist-turned-Shellback Beast who currently leads the Court of the East within the Grove.
Overview[]
Held captive for his Durance in the Chasms Under the World, Acosta was given a hand up by East courtier Michael Duan on his escape. Out of gratitude, he stayed with the Court, even through their political irrelevance — something he made certain to correct in the wake of the Flood of ’08 and the subsequent political upheaval.
Much of Acosta’s wealth comes from Azure Technologies (a computer hardware development company founded by Duan and fellow East courtier Gracie-Mae Chen) of which he is the CFO. A fair amount of his salary goes into charitable organizations, some of which are set up to benefit the freehold.
