The Time of Judgment refers to a series of eight books that were released in themed years 2003 and 2004, and to the time period described in these books. This theme heralded the end of the canon World of Darkness and the related metaplot. The Time of Judgment series is semi-canon and is intended to allow players the option to end their own personal stories.
Unlike previous themed years, there were no events characterizing the Time of Judgment that affected all World of Darkness game lines; instead, each game was given a selection of its own specifically-tailored final fates or multiple endings which are determined by the actions and choices of the player.

Fiction[]
The Time of Judgment Trilogy is a trilogy of thematically linked novels that are set during the Time of Judgment. The novels are not directly linked to one another by plot or characters, and each of the three books ties into a different World of Darkness game (Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and Mage: The Ascension, in order). Each of these novels was published concurrently with, or shortly after, the final Time of Judgment sourcebook for its game line.
The novels that make up the trilogy are:
- VTM: Gehenna: The Final Night by Ari Marmell
- WTA: The Last Battle by Bill Bridges
- MTAs: Judgment Day by Bruce Baugh
Other books[]
Other books were released which fit thematically with the Time of Judgment, but were not included due to their being published in different years or for other reasons.
- Although suitably catastrophic and released at the right time, it was not included among the Time of Judgment books because it was part of a limited set.
