The Thorns Hold is a realm of Faerie ruled by the Thorn Prince.
Background[]
Marked by “great iron bells of Thorns”, the Thorns Hold is a jade and silver palace in which the Thorn Prince’s forces — those of iron will and iron flesh — are trained and kept. These forces act to aid the Other in his work of punishing oathbreakers, mortal and fae alike.
Among the many Ogres formed by a Durance within the Hold are Stonebones, Gargantuans, and Gristlegrinders, who make up the bulk of the Prince’s troops; Farwalkers, who supplement the Stranger’s bloodhounds; and Water-Dwellers, who seek out those who would hide in Arcadian waters.
