The Institute is a place of treatment for the Malkavians of the Boston Camarilla. Kindred must blend in among the mortal masses. Some Malkavians believe they need to be treated in order to do this, by reducing the delusions that make them stand out. The previous Prince of Boston, Quentin King III, created the asylum where numbers of his clan could seek treatment.
