The Campaign Book, Volume 1: Fantasy is a 1990 sourcebook by "On Your Mark" winners from White Wolf Magazine.

Summary[]

From the Back Cover:

This innovative RPG supplement raises the presentation of game material to a new level. Volume One in this series of Campaign Books provides information to run more than just a fantasy adventure, it helps you run an entire campaign.

And not just one campaign, but six!

Each of the campaigns details a unique setting, important NPCs, and a complete storyline with outlines of at least a half-dozen adventures. No longer is there a need to completely re-work the information in published adventures to fit your campaign. With the Campaign Book, a gamemaster has an epic saga at his fingertips and enough ideas to last for months.

Each of the campaign settings builds the story to a climatic finale, but that doesn't mean the campaign is over. Each of the settings is rich enough to allow for many future stories.

  • Enter Astria, Realm of Faerie and help a prince regain his throne. The prince's dark twin rules the land, but with help from a band of dedicated heroes, the despot may be defeated.
  • An entire race that exists only in he minds of the Dreamers is being threatened by a powerful ex-tradimensional sorceress. You must enter the dreams to save an entire civilization.
  • As ambassadors to a new land, you are outraged to find your people's most hated enemies already negotiating with the newly discovered culture. Can you survive in this strange new land and secure trading rights for your nation?
  • As faithful servants of the Emperor, it is your duty to root out treachery and treason wherever you find it. Word of revolt is spreading through the Empire. Who is the source of this new feeling? Who can you trust?
  • An angry Merqueen is destroying the shipping trade that your homeland depends upon. The powerful merchant-princes cannot explain the vicious storms destroying their fleets. In this underwater epic you must search for answers.
  • A mysterious and powerful spirit had chosen you to act on its behalf in a war-torn world.
