The Anarch Cookbook is a sourcebook for Vampire: The Masquerade detailing the Anarch movement and its beginnings.

Summary

From the White Wolf catalog:

From The Agony of Oppression
The elders kick everyone else around. It seems like a vampire has no purpose in this world except as a punching bag for the old ones. They'll knock you down, push you around and force you to do their vile bidding. That is, when they're not drinking you dry.
To The Ecstasy of Freedom
But you are not alone. We are the anarchs, and we are the future. Read this book, and learn why the elders despise us. Read it, and learn of the lies they tell. Read it, and learn why we are so feared. The Anarch Cookbook includes: the weapons, strategies and tactics of the anarchs, usable by players and Storytellers; the history of the Anarch Movement, from its beginnings millennia ago to the Anarch Free States today; biographies of prominent anarchs, as well as their immortal arch-enemy.

Content

Introduction

Preface: An Anarch Manifesto

This History of the Anarch Movement as told by Salvador Garcia .

Chapter One: Joining the Cause

This chapter deals with the anarchs themselves: who they are, what they do and why they do it.  It also includes tips on finding and joining them.

Chapter Two: The Revolt

This chapter gives the various modus operandi of the Anarch Movement - how anarchs get away with what they do and what happens when they work together to take out the prince or to undermine his power.  It provides information on the state of the Movement all over the world, on creating allies outside your city, and lists some allies who may be too dangerous to use.

Chapter Three: Weapons for the Fight

This chapter includes some hard advice on how to screw over your enemies.  It includes using computers and other high-tech devices to get your way, and even hand - to - hand tactics for the down - and - dirty action, including martial arts styles.  This charpter should prepare all young anarchs for the next big step.

Chapter Four: War!

This chapter gives you everything you need to know to run a good war, including how to consolidate your wins or run with your losses.

Postscript: Pleading Your Case

This chapter deals with hints about what to do when you get caught.  Whining, double-crossing your friends, and other tactics both noble and despicable are all on the table.  Also, how to get revenge from beyond the final grave, if it comes to that.

Appendix One: Who's Who Among the Anarchs

Appendix Two: Anarch Slang

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere

The ceremony of innocence is drowned;

The best lack all conviction, while the worst

Are full of passionate intensity.
