Things that still have to be added:
- really haven't covered the Rroma/Shilmulo stuff in any particular depth
- Nothing about the Gangrel.
Anyone wanna write about WoD: Gypsies :)? --205.201.9.174 05:00, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Oh yeah, could people please continue to use the past tense for this clan :)? --205.201.9.174 05:14, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)
There's no need to use past tense when describing the Ravnos. They're not officially dead in OWoD, just very scarce. It might be worth noting that the awakening of Zapathasura & the Week of Nightmares are specifically listed in the Ravnos Revised clanbook as being an optional plot device. I can only imagine that they put that disclaimer on it because it was unpopular with many players who liked the clan. --Vampkiller93 18:18, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Um ...[]
- ". . . the inaccurate treatment of Roma in WoD material (particularly through World of Darkness: Gypsies). Later editions are somewhat more accurate in that the Ravnos are now less of a 'Gypsy clan' and more of an 'Indian clan-"
... citation needed? When/where was such 'inaccuracy' arbitrated? As far as has been researched, the "real world" Roma originated in the northern regions of the Indian subcontinent and have spread across the planet. Where's the contradiction or inaccuracy? The point of WoD:G wasn't to be an anthropology treatise, but to base in-game traditions on real-world ones. And the connection between Ravnos and Roma was always kept vaguely shrouded in legend, as far as I can recall - leaving interpretation comfortably open-ended, like any decent RPG framework.
