gargoyle contradicting canon.welw Edit

in house of tremere it says that gargoyles were created in around 1121(or 1122 not sure) ad.

it even talks a lot about the process . such as goratrix using virstania specificaly to help with the project.

house of tremere was made years after books of storyteller secrets so i think we shoud change the date. 15:13, February 26, 2015 (UTC)

The Book of Storyteller Secrets (VTDA), p. 76 and Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition, p. 400 say the gargoyles were created in AD 1167. The book House of Tremere, p. 25 says the first gargoyle (Chaundice), came into being in 1121 (and disappeared in 1126).

We don't know the truth, however, all of these sources are canon. Therefore I opted to maintain all of them.

personally i see the vampire 20 anniversary edition as making a mistake. after all so many years passed. plus house of tremere gives a more thorough description. but i see you point,we have no absoute canon here.

im just saying that v20 made some real bad mistakes. such as calderon helping in the formation of the camarilla in rites of blood.

the same calderon who dies in 1314. 23:28, February 27, 2015 (UTC)

I think it is not up to us to judge if they made a mistake or not. They changed a few things. Besides, White Wolf's publications are filled with similar mistakes. Be that as it may, remember that the tale presented by Ponticulus in House of Tremere was written in first person. Therefore it is unreliable. We can't be sure of what he says, it may be biased, or his memory may not recall the events correctly (the same goes for books like Encyclopaedia Vampirica).

PS: you should add that info on the death of Calderon to his article (don't forget the references).
