Disambiguation[]
I was going to wikilink the DOB and DOEmbrace, when I realized that given the prominence of the Ordo Dracul in VTR, this entry should probably be disambiguated. I dunno; is Dracula in Requiem ever referred to as Vlad Tepes? If not, we can keep the two entries seperate, although definitely provide links to the alternate version, since they are historically the same person.
That was rambly, but coherent, I hope. --Ian 23:54, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Entirely coherent; I was thinking the same thing when I added my brief bit. I'll look up the Ordo Dracul stuff I have access to, and come back to this, but I suspect we should have two articles, one for each line - after all, their histories are significantly different, at least after death. -- Guybrush 00:21, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- I was reading the book Rites of the Dragon, the supplement that details the Ordo Dracul, and there he is called Vlad Dracula, Vladislav, Tepes, Kaziglu Bey and Dragon Knight (by God himself), but never Vlad Tepes. Although I think the best option, and the most coherent, is to put two separate entities, one is Vlad Tepes (VtM) ad the other Vlad Dracul (VtR). Shadow Wanderer 23:41, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- Just a correction, the Rites of the Dragon is the story of the covenant told by Dracula himself, but in the Ordo Dracul rulebook we can find this on page 20 "Also called Vlad Tepes (“the Impaler”), he is better known to the world as “Dracula.”" -- Shadow Wanderer 23:49, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
