Why the Siaka and not the Dolphin? Edit

We know that RY 768 was the Year of the Mouse by the Shogunate calendar. Going back 750 years (six epochs), we can tell that RY 18 must also have been a Year of the Bronze Mouse. Thus, the fifth (or possibly sixth) epoch of the Shogunate must have begun (with a year of the Bronze Mospid) in RY 8. The last year of the previous epoch, its Year of the Quicksilver Rat, fell in RY 7.

This is where you may need to open your copy of Exalted: The Outcaste to p.16 to follow along. Go up one row and left one column (or the other way around in reverse, it doesn't matter) to go back six years (to RY 1), and you'll find you're in the year of the (Quicksilver) Siaka. QED.

Fair enough. I was probably calculating to 0 rather than to 1. IanWatson 14:13, 29 May 2005 (UTC)
Thought it might be something like that. No biggy, chief. (-8 AberrantEyes 14:43, 29 May 2005 (UTC)
