A supernumerary is an empty crowd-filler in a dream.

Overview[]

(Anything required.)

Derided as “extras” in dreams by many changelings, the true origin and capabilities of supernumeraries is unknown. They are actors, and they know their stage – the dreamer's mind – well; patient Skein-travelers may find them useful in gathering information when they are "off duty". These actors tend to look almost fake in appearance, and grow more so the further they are from the heart of the dream's action.

Supernumeraries are weaker than other dream-creatures on a number of fronts, including a lack of special oneiromantic powers, being treated as part of the environment in terms of combat, and having significantly lower Willpower.
