The Society of Veterans is a sort of Troll VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars).
Overview
This is just what the name suggests. Of all the warrior societies, this one cuts more widely across Court boundaries. Veteran meetings are usually boisterous affairs filled with food, drink, and countless retellings of past battles. All that is required to be a member of this society is the recognition of existing members who deem the aspirant either to have been through enough battles, or to have reacted "in a manner befitting a veteran." The Society has no overt political goals, other than to assure that worthy warriors are recognized as such.
