Society of Saint George is a witch-hunter Anglican hunter organisation, a splinter group of the Society of Leopold.
Overview[]
The society of Saint George is an Anglican group primarily operating in England, headquartered in London. They have retained much of the structure of its Catholic forebears, in spite of its doctrinal errors.
Trivia[]
- In The Hunters Hunted II, the Society of Saint George were stated to be a splinter group of another hunter organisation with a name referencing the same saint; Knights of St.George. This means that the Society of Saint George may no longer be a part of the Society of Leopold, or that the Society is now a part of the Knights of St.George instead.
- "The Knights of St. George have always been a forward-looking order, inducting women in the 19th century, and opening their doors to non-Christians in the early 20th. There are alchemists, sorcerous numinist, and mortal researchers. A splinter group, the Society of St. George, is even believed to be able to wield powerful magic. All of them have sworn to hunt evil upon the world, and primarily focus their attention on vampires."
- The Society of Saint George is likely based off of the real Patriotic society of the same name.
