To the Amenti, the Shuankhsen (also called "the Lifeless") are the remnants of the old Spell of Life and still carry its flaws and drawbacks. Many of them died during the Dja-ahk and today, their numbers are constantly dwindling, thanks to the efforts of the Hand of Thoth and judgements of the Judges of Ma'at.
The remaining Ishmaelites and Cabiri are common labelled Shuankhsen.
