Shaping is a set of Gifts granted to the Forsaken that allow them to manipulate the form of objects. They can only be used in Hishu or Dalu form, and the werewolf must be touching the target. The target must be non-living, non-magical, solid objects; silver cannot be targeted, nor enchanted objects such as a fetish. They are the affinity of the Iron Masters and of Ithaeur.
First Edition[]
Powers[]
Straighten: smooth out kinks, folds or warps in a surface or object, such as turning a drill bit into a smooth steel rod, or repairing a dent in the body of a car.
Ruin: reduce any object to a crumpled, twisted mass. Such an object cannot be repaired with Straighten.
Sculpt: makes an object as malleable as clay, allowing it to be reshaped at will.
Shatter: reduce an object to pieces. These could be reassembled with Sculpt, if they remain large enough.
Condense or Expand: change the size of an object without changing its mass; and enlarged object may be easier to break, while a condensed object is more durable.
Second Edition[]
Powers[]
- Moldywarp (Cunning): Turning the power of the Shaping Gift inwards, the Uratha molds herself into a strange burrowing hybrid.
- Shield-Breaker (Glory): Under the hammering strike of the Uratha, shields shatter and armor buckles.
- Entropy's Toll (Honor): The scouring howl of the Uratha shatters windows, crumbles stone, and leaves metal collapsing into rust.
- Perfection Of Form (Purity): With just a whisper and a caress, the Uratha hones the form of a tool to a state of perfection.
- Sculpt (Wisdom): This Facet forces even the hardiest of substances to yield to the Uratha's intent.
