Shankar is an Indian Assamite Rafiq, prominent among the Militant faction of his clan.

Biography[]

Born under British occupation, Shankar was one of the many angry young men that wished to see the occupiers gone. Shankar's antipathy arose after British soldiers dishonored his mother and sister and the British commander had sent him and his brothers away. He left his family in search of the Thuggee and found another sect of assassins, one that would guide him against the undead masters of the pale British.

Shankar was an eager learner, growing with fury as he listened to the shame his new-found family was put through. Like many of the younger Rafiq, he is impatient for revenge; he questioned the wisdom of the Treaty of Tyre and has become a prominent voice among the Militant faction of the clan, preaching open war against the Camarilla. It is said that he has even accompanied some of the Black Hand antitribu in their war parties and that the elders question his allegiance.

The status of his allegiance (or even survival) following the Assamite Schism, is unknown.
