When Justine is asking for advice about dealing with ghosts, Serena advises her not to trust them. Serena says she was taken in by an erudite and persuasive monster that appeared "human, only better," and when she spared its life it killed her friend and came after her.[1] By contrast, she's open to working with Euclio, if it really does kill other ghosts.[2]
When Observer209 seeks advice from the judgment-day list, Serena talks about seeing a Gargoyle while traveling in Vienna.[3]
