Rustarin is the draconic leader of the seven Zmei of Russia. Her commanding gaze can cause a victim to freeze while under her stare.
Biography[]
Rustarin is 80 feet long from head to tail. Her scales are a deep blue and they shimmer like sapphires. Her eyes are shifting kaleidoscopes that draw others into their gaze.
It was Rustarin who first answered the call of Baba Yaga in ancient times, when the witch invoked the power of the Wyrm to battle her sire, Absimiliard. Rustarin was the one who told the witch the names of the others, but in time she came to resent Baba Yaga for earning Gregornous' loyalty.
Rustarin is a good leader and none of the Zmei resent her for that (with the possible exceptions of Shazear and Trevero). She wields the other Zmei like weapons, and is eager to show how powerful they are. She thinks that lesser Wyrm creatures should defer to the Zmei and if lesser creatures offend them, she would simply eat them.
Rustarin still sleeps, although the binding is weak. Her localization is somewhere in Kazakhstan, near the Aral Sea.

Powers: Fear, Regeneration, Rend Reality, Flight, Attacks (Fang, Claws and Tail Lash), Commanding Gaze (Rustarin can gaze at a victim and cause him to freeze in place. He will be unable to move for 10 rounds or as long as Rustarin stares at him, whichever is longer. The victim may make a Willpower roll opposed by Rustarin's Willpower. He may not spend Willpower for automatic successes on this roll. If successful, then the victim can act freely for one turn and every additional turn in which he spends a Willpower point. If he has five successes, then the power is broken and will not work on him again for another week. Rustarin must spend a Gnosis point to use this power.)
