The Rose Doors are a persistent verge located in a number of the world's largest cities.[1] They take the form of archways underneath which is a lush rose, hence the name; passing beneath the arch takes the walker into the Shadow.[1]
Attempts to destroy Rose Doors inevitably fail; not necessarily because they cannot be destroyed at all, but because their destruction simply prompts their subsequent re-appearance elsewhere.[2]
