Reune (CTD)

In the old form of the Kithain, a Reune is a noble rendezvous; often a secret negotiation.

Overview

The reune is the most secretive of meetings between the fae nobility. It is rumored that many history-making decisions are first forged here. Often this type of secret rendezvous is combined with a lover's tryst (see the article Courtly Love). The reune may be a meeting between secret allies, or dire enemies. Detractors of the nobility often accuse it of "governance by reune."
