Randel Portman or The Fireman was the first nova known by the public to have erupted following the explosion of the Galatea[2].
History[]
Randel Portman erupted on 23 March at 3:31 PM EST, while working for the New York City Fire Department (NYFD), attempting to put out a school bus which had caught fire. He absorbed all the fire within himself, earning him the nickname "The Fireman," and establishing him in the eyes of the public as the first known nova.[3]
After Æon founded Project Utopia on 13 of August 1998, he stayed on and worked with Utopia an additional two years.[4][5]
In late 2008 he ran, and won, the Presidency of the United States of America, making him the first nova President. Mr. Portman ran as a Democrat and became the 45th President of the United States.[6]
