Rage is a set of Gifts granted to the Forsaken by spirits that fear and respect the power that rage grants to the werewolves. They focus on the drawing of power out of rage and the manipulation of enemies’ rage.
The Predator Kings are also able to use these gifts.
First Edition[]
Powers[]
- Mask of Rage: This Gift enhances the aura of terror that an Uratha emits. Mask of Rage cannot be used in Gauru form.
- Hone Rage: The Uratha can sacrifice the time spent in Gauru form in exchange for increased physical power or finesse.
- Leach Rage: The wielder of this gift draws out and steals away an opponent’s rage, reducing the time that opponent can spend in Gauru form and increasing that time for the wielder.
- Rekindled Rage: With some effort, a werewolf can enter Gauru form more than once per scene, though the second time is for a much shorter duration.
- Soured Rage: The Gift’s user poisons a target’s rage such that it is overridden by self-preservation, making the victim likely to flee, rather than fight.
Second Edition[]
Powers[]
- Incite Fury (Cunning): It's easy to goad the prey into foolish rage when the tongue has a supernatural sting to it.
- Berserker's Might (Glory): Girded with this Facet, the werewolf becomes a horrifying juggernaut who simply shrugs off the most grievous of wounds.
- Perfected Rage (Honor): The raw, overwhelming fury of Gauru is too much for an Uratha to beat for long, unless his very Essence has been carved with new channels of rage.
- Slaughterer (Purity): Rage is just another source of strength. Drink deep of its power and let the blood flow free.
- Raging Lunacy (Wisdom): Bathed in the maddening vision of Luna, the Uratha is a spark tat ignites a blaze of unreasoning fury in the soul.
