Ragara is the eldest of the Scarlet Empress' children to have reached adulthood, and the eldest still alive. Having founded House Ragara he shaped the Scarlet Dynasty by laying down the template of a Great House and by actively seeking to eliminate siblings who would be potential rival heirs to the throne. This included an unsuccessful attempt on the life of his youngest full-sister Mnemon by poisoned armour.
Despite his generally hostile attitude towards siblings, Ragara secretly fathered Ragara Bhagwei on Cynis (probably his full sister).
By the time of the Empress' disappearance, Ragara was retired and rule of his house had passed to his eldest son, Ragara Banobas.
