Quentin King III was the Malkavian Prince of Boston.

Biography[]

During his mortal days, Quentin was a police inspector in New York City. He was brutally Embraced in 1811 by the mad vampire Nathan Skarvan, who then forced Quentin to commit Diablerie upon him. Quentin's initial power base came from a coterie of Malkavians with a shared delusion: they all saw themselves as questing knights, with Quentin King as their Arthur.

It was unclear if King adopted their delusion or if he played along and had some other subtle Derangement. The Toreador seemed to genuinely like him, and his six knights were deeply loyal, even Blood Bound to him by choice. Quentin kept the Sabbat hordes at bay, though he owed much of his power to the British Elder William Biltmore.

One night Quentin King disappeared. Whether this was due to the Beckoning reaching his ears, Biltmore’s threat against his free will coming to fruition, or the Kindred of Liberty finally snuffing him out, none can say. One night ,he was in court; the next, he wasn’t. 2014 spelled the end of Quentin King’s surprisingly lengthy Praxis.

In reality, Quentin was captured by Hilda MacAndrews and imprisoned in a safehouse of her fellow Primogen Berel Underwood. Throughout the years, Hilda visited Quentin to torture and mutilate him. In 2019, Leysha discovered the imprisoned Quentin and decapitated him, finishing the tortured unlife of the former Prince.
