The Pillars of magick in Dark Ages: Mage are roughly equivalent to the Spheres used by mages in modern nights, but more limited. Each Fellowship has its own four Pillars (often using a different name for 'Pillar'), listed in that Fellowship's description.

- The Lokas (worlds) of the Itarajana:

- The Archangels of the Messianic Voices:

- The Forma (forms) of the Order of Hermes:
- Anima: Command of life

- As a splinter group from the Order of Hermes, the Craftmasons continued to use the Hermetic system, with one exception:
- Materia: Command of material substances, which replaced the Hermetic use of Primus.
