The Path of Harmony is a nearly extinct Path of Enlightenment originally found within the Sabbat. It is a variant of the Path of the Beast in that it accepts the Beast as necessary for the vampire's survival.
Followers are also called Harmonists.
Overview
The Path of Harmony vehemently objects to the definition of the vampiric state as "unnatural". After all, there are other organisms in the world that also live solely from blood and the relationship between predator and prey is omnipresent in every ecosystem. The place within the world that vampires occupy seems unpleasant, but this is only the result of the adjustment from human to vampire. Combining Native American beliefs with modern thoughts of ecology, Harmonists seek to fill their place in the natural world and preserve the natural state. While younger Harmonists often believe that this includes protecting natural habiuts, Elders have understood that this refers to keeping the fine line between knowing when to act and when to leave things be.
