- Rob presents a paper wherein he discusses his work with the Progenitors' Recruiters. Andrew Greene notes that Rob has been talking back to Dr. Reid more often in class, and looking at him like he's a moron.[2]
- 1997
- Garou begin to converge on Kursk, the former home of Gregornous Deathwing. Silent Strider spies claimed he had returned to his home after decades of absence, and so an attack is launched this day, slaying Gregornous Deathwing. Over fifty Garou die in the battle, including a number of great leaders – the Bone Gnawer leader Nicholas Zukeine and Mother's Pride of the Black Furies.[3]

- The Devil's Night riots of Los Angeles continue.[4]

- On his way away from the Woodrow Miller business, Lucifer notices the presence of Wendell Delburton, who had been following him, in Wichita. Delburton manages to wound Lucifer, and in anger (and continuing resentment over what happened with Miller), Lucifer kills him.[5][6]

- Team Tomorrow and Project Utopia hold a press conference in Venice, denouncing the Null Manifesto and the Teragen.[7]
- An unknown individual (possibly Director Thetis), supposedly representing Project Utopia, discusses the Null Manifesto in an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.[8]

- For this year's Dia de los Muertes in Mexico City, a local nova built a realistic eight-meter-tall skeleton which danced down Alameda Street and threw candy skulls into the crowd.[9]
- 2110
- Major G.N. Bandawadday sends a report to Colonel Agrah Shahim, Commander of the Fourth Legion. The report indicates evidence that there may be some Chitra Bhanu still active in Antarctica.[10]
