Ninth Circle Tenement

The Ninth Circle Tenement is a run-down building in Downtown LA used as a headquarters for the Brotherhood of the Ninth Circle cult. The front door is boarded up, but a back alley entrance is open. A small vestibule area is guarded by Jumbles, an acolyte behind bulletproof glass, asking proof that querents have been enlightened.

If they show proof, he buzzes them into the main building.

Multiple decaying floors of the building are full of a form of "zombie," victims of the Ninth Circle Plague. It's unknown if they're living victims of an advanced form of the plague, or what happens to the dead who die due to the supernatural sickness.

On one of the lower floors is Bishop Vick and his zombie entourage.

Background Information

• The location has no exterior signage other than the symbol of the Brotherhood, and few people refer to it by name. Saving a game within the building labels it as the "Crackhouse," a name repeated by most of the game files for the area.
