Nightsinger is one of the sub-types of the Darkling seeming. Dark musicians who conjure hypnotic tunes, theirs is the blessing of the Haunting Nocturne.
First Edition[]
The Darklings are not without their music. Darkling music, however, is largely heard without ever catching a glimpse of the musician. Nightsingers compose operas of wolf howls and owl cries, sing banshee songs and play hauntingly devilish tunes on fiddles strung with unwholesome gut. Nightsingers may set aside their instruments and strive to escape for home, but the music stays with them.
Second Edition[]
Born of creative mortals, Nightsingers were used by the Gentry to create their music. The majority of these changelings managed to escape by producing a piece evocative enough that their Keepers were incapacitated by emotional agony or ecstasy.
On the mortal side of the Hedge, Nightsingers' music lacks much of the power it had in Arcadia; all the same, it is a potent strength.
Kith Blessing[]
Passive Blessing: This kith excels in using Expression to create or sing pieces of music.
Siren Song: By spending Glamour, the Nightsinger can pull listeners under their sway.
