New Moon is a set of Gifts granted to the Forsaken by the Irralunim Lunes of the New Moon Choir. They focus on removing minor obstacles standing in the path to greater feats. The Gifts of the New Moon are exclusive to Irraka.
First Edition[]
Powers[]
Sense Weakness: The Uratha can analyze potential flaws in a target’s mind and body, provided those flaws are individual weaknesses, rather than those endemic to a species (i.e. it will not reveal basic human weaknesses or vampire weaknesses).
Slip Away: The werewolf is able to escape physical bondage with ease, provided that those physical bonds have no magical component.
Distractions: This Gift grants the user the ability to foist upon a target visions that flicker in and out of peripheral vision, distracting their efforts.
Blend In: The werewolf appears as though he belongs in his given environment, his presence attracting no attention.
Ghost Step: The wielder of this Gift can, for a time, become insubstantial, being unaffected by physical attack and nigh-imperceptible while in this state. Similarly, the wielder cannot affect the physical world.
Second Edition[]
Powers[]
Eviscerate: The Irraka's first strike is often the last of the fight.
Slip Away: The Irraka may use this Facet to leave no memories of her passing
Relentless Hunter: No matter how well the prey believes that they have secured themselves, the Irraka always finds a way. This facet can only be activated when the Irraka gains the Siskur-Dah Condition.
Divide And Conquer: The Irraka sees no need to attack the prey when they are strong and numerous. Better by far to pull them apart with distractions and lures, then pick them off one by one.
Breach: The Irraka slips across the Gauntlet like a shadow between worlds.
