Nevada is a state in the western United States. Its capital is Carson City, and its largest urban areas are Reno and (with 75% of the state's population) is Las Vegas. For the real-world state, see: Nevada. For history specific to Las Vegas, see that page.
History[]
The Anasazi, the Paiute, the Ute, the Shoshone, and other Indigenous peoples occupied the territory of modern-day Nevada long before the Spanish incorporated it into their empire.[1] The United States acquired the territory that would become Nevada from Mexico in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848. It became a state in 1864.[2]

Nevada corresponds to the Duchy of Good Fortune in Concordia's Kingdom of the Burning Sun.[3] The mining ghost town Mother Lode, a freehold of the thorpe type, is located somewhere in Nevada.[4]
