Gluttonous and horrifying hunger defines the Locusts, and makes them a nightmare and threat to even elder Kindred. That this line is largely confined to eastern Europe is cold consolation to vampires who have heard whispers of its legend.

In Vampire: The Requiem, the Nelapsi are a bloodline of the Daeva clan, hailing from eastern Europe.

Overview[]

Along with the Disciplines of their parent clan, Nelapsi also possess an affinity for the Nosferatu Discipline of Nightmare. They use their potent combination of Majesty and Nightmare to inspire both terror and awe in their enemies.

Nicknamed "Gluttons," the weakness of the Nelapsi is that as their blood becomes more potent, they require a higher expenditure of blood to rise each night. A small brood of Nelapsi can devastate a lightly populated area like locusts, and consequently are very rare, especially outside of eastern Europe.
