Morlee Wharton is a Sluagh Wilder with a gift for serving tea.
Overview[]
Tea parties are high custom among the underfolk and little Morlee Wharton's mentor taught him the skill of serving a proper English tea soon after the boy's Chrysalis. Never mind that other fae find a sluagh tea party a bit creepy; the boy was a determined student, dead set on making a good name for his skills.
Now a wilder, Morlee has a fine reputation for doing up a tea just right, even among non-sluagh, with antique porcelain, cucumber sandwiches, and the perfect iced layer cake. Don't worry, everything is quite clean and proper. He also choses the most appropriate teas for the occasion, whether a delicate Darjeeling or a smoky Earl Grey. He shows up at the scheduled event, prepares the tea, and serves it with the skill of an English butler. Then, he curls up quietly under the serving cart and waits.
In addition to having the reputation of serving excellent teas, he is a respected spy among his own kith. He's so unobtrusive and quiet, most of the guests forget he's there. Their cups are never empty and everything is so neat and orderly, he seems almost invisible. Of course, he's sometimes asked to leave the room, particularly by royals, but he can still hear plenty while waiting in a convenient drainpipe or heat duct.
Some think it would be fun to hire him out to spy on some of the Eiluned. Of course, he may already be working for them. Who's to say he isn't?
