Lady Miss Pity is the Winter Queen of a freehold contemplating the use of the Children's Contract.
Overview[]
An untested, young queen, Miss Pity came to rule, some say, due to the sheer grief of her history — her entire family executed by her Keeper in retribution for her escape.
She is generally passive, initially allowing the ritual to move forward out of the hope that it can do some good. As it becomes clearer that its use is dividing the freehold, she tries and fails to convince Red Wren to end the ritual.
