May Day (May 1st) is a festival of the Kithain dedicated to the laboring Commoners of the world. It is especially important to Nockers and Boggans.

Overview[]

Boggan14

In 1889, the Second International, a group of Labour and Socialist party members, held their first congress on May 1st. Mortals who worked for a living began to celebrate the day as special and many commoner fae followed suit. Rather than take the day to rest, however, nockers and boggans take this day to showcase their skills. Boggans have baking competitions and nockers show off their newest inventions along with other events. It's more of a county fair than political statement and plenty of fae show up to check out the food and toys. A grand parade and a feast where all can stuff themselves to bursting ends the day.
