Matthias Van Dorn is a powerful American Ventrue and the mastermind behind his city, using political connections to manipulate and control the domain. Although he wasn't a Prince, he is a major investor, captain of industry, and the largest political contributor in the domain. During a political gathering, he had his employee Casper Johnson bring him politicians to convince and manipulate, until Casper was attacked by his rival Ventrue Joachin Almodovar. His assistant Spencer neutralized Joachin and brought him before Matthias for interrogation. Matthias ended his rival's unlife by diablerizing him and then Embraced the shocked Casper.
