Marie was a German vampire hunter from the SS, sired by the Gangrel Beckett.
Biography[]
During World War II, both Marie and her future sire, Beckett, wanted a list of occult tomes circulating among rare book dealers in the city Berlin. The list was in the possession of the vampire known as Baumgarten.
However, when Marie staked Baumgarten through the heart and set fire to the list he was carrying, she accidentally wounded Beckett's pride. The Gangrel then sought to teach her a lesson by turning her into what she hated the most, and Embraced her. She still hunts him to this night, punishing him for it – and she is very talented at her craft.
In modern nights, while Beckett was looking for the Book of the Grave-War, he finally found a hint to Marie's location. Investigating an abandoned cigarette factory in Pankow that she allegedly used as a haven, he was ambushed by his progeny and the retainers of the Nosferatu antitribu Gunther, childe of Archbishop Strohmann.
After Beckett was surrounded, Marie appeared to him, holding the book he was so desperate to find. As a testimony to her wicked sense of irony, she put a stake through the book and into Beckett's heart. He eventually escaped, but she was nowhere to be found.
