Tsiang Wo is a mage that Raphael Rodriquez goes to in The Awakening, the opening story in the first edition of the Mage the Ascension. She lives in Greenwich Village, New York City, and is a friend of Dante. Wo is a mage of the Akashic Brotherhood and has advanced far enough in magick that she no longer needs foci. She seems particularly knowledgeable in the Spheres of Correspondence, Mind, and Forces.
When Raphael came to her home requesting to become her apprentice, Wo explained the basics of magick to him and gave him a demonstration of her power, but in the process attracted a Paradox Spirit that dragged her into a Paradox Realm. She left behind a fragment of her Avatar in the form of a gem that triggered Raphael's Awakening. What happened to her after that is unknown.
