Lorna Dingwall is an 11th generation Toreador from Edinburgh. During the Victorian period, she resided in London as a hostage to the Treaty of Durham.

The kindred of Edinburgh assumed that Lorna was embraced because of her incredible singing voice. They were quite, quite wrong. Her sire chose her for her extensive contacts in Edinburgh's underworld, gained through her admirers and lovers in the five years she lived in the city.
