The Long Winter is the term Changelings use to describe the death of all Glamour that is left in this world. Within this prophesied realm, no Fae soul could survive and the gates of Arcadia would be closed completely. In order to survive, the Changelings fight against the encroaching Banality to slow the coming of the Winter.
Some groups, like the Shadow Court, strive to fasten the coming of the Long Winter.
