Cousin Marcus, Fire-Touched member of the Lodge of Fevered Light
The Lodge of Fevered Light is a Fire-Touched lodge that formed a partnership with spirits of disease.
Overview[]
The lodge's patron is Fevered Dream, a spirit king of pain and disease. When a group of Fire-Touched defeated Fevered Dream's cult, the spirit itself offered an alliance to them: it would support the werewolves' vendetta against the Forsaken, and offer them cover for their activities, if in exchange they would protect the cult from enemies both internal and external.
The cult/lodge's front is the Church of the Lighthouse, a nominally Christian evangelical organization that carries out charitable work in the poorest and neediest places of the world. While they tailor their messaging to their location, their core philosophy is that sickness is a test sent by God to purify the faithful, body and soul. The Essence generated by their worship feeds Fevered Dream and other spirits, while the tithes they impose on members finance their outreach and the missions of the Fire-Touched.[1]
Only the church's elders are aware of the nature of the organization, and many of these are Urged or Claimed by disease spirits. [2]
Membership[]
The Church of the Lighthouse actively recruits Wolf-Blooded, especially families associated with nearby Pure tribes; members of the lodge are always on the lookout for anyone who seems to be close to their First Change. This sets them up with a foundation of indoctrination on which the lodge can build. While a few of these escape the cult and go on to live as Ghost Wolves or even Forsaken, most are tormented by spirits of fire and disease until they embrace Rabid Wolf and the lodge.[2]

Gifts[]
The following Gifts are taught by disease spirits, though not exclusively to the Lodge of Fevered Light.
Symptom: the target manifests the symptoms of an illness such as a body aches, runny nose, or rash. Medical examination reveals no evidence of actual infection.
Touch of Fever: the victim develops a flu-like illness. Uratha are immune to this Gift.
Fevered Visage: the victim instantly develops a high fever and chills.
Fevered Sending: the user can enter and potentially manipulate the dreams of the target, who manifests the symptoms of a fever during this time.
Toxic Wrath: the user exhales a cloud of fever and poison spirits. Anyone touched by the cloud is struck with terrible skin disease.[3]
