Let the Streets Run Red is a supplementary sourcebook for the Chicago by Night 5th Edition.[1]
The book is available in PDF and for print-on-demand.
Summary[]
- Let the Streets Run Red includes:
- Four full stories for play over multiple game sessions, each handling a different core theme from Vampire: The Masquerade. These chronicles can be played independently of each other or in sequence.
- Deep coverage of the vampire domains of Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, and Gary and some of those cities’ undead inhabitants.
- A cast of Kindred with biographies, ambitions, intrigues, links to other characters, and ways to include them in any chronicle, whether as antagonists, a supporting cast, or inspiration for playable characters.
- New Loresheets for inclusion in your game, allowing player characters to start with a foot, claw, or fang already planted in the roots of the chronicles within this book, and beyond.
- Nine ready-made characters so you can start playing any of the chronicles in this book immediately.
Contents[]
Debts Repaid[]
Randy Zelley ("Ramrod") of the Wolf Pack attempts to make peace with his wayward childer before the prophecy of his death at the hands of Duncan MacTavish comes true.
Introduction[]
A short discussion of how to incorporate the Chronicles of the book into your existing campaign as well as how to modify them for your players.
Power Prey[]
Walter Nash has murdered the child of a millionaire computer genius Paul Sterry a.k.a Redwood. In revenge, Paul sends the players' Touchstones threats and plots the kidnapping of one. He is also working with a group of hunters called the Night's Cross. In the end, the player characters must find Paul's true identity, track down his home, and eliminate his threat. But at what cost?
The Dying Fields[]
The player characters are sent to the town of Willerton, Illinois in order to find out what happened to a vampiric courier, Everett York, only to find themselves mystically trapped in the town. Discovering that even here is not a refuge from the petty feuding between Anarchs and Camarilla, they are soon targeted by a local cult led by a ghoul named Starchild. But even if they escape the cult, leaving the town may not be as easy as it seems.
Innocence in Blood[]
The player characters journey to Milwaukee where they are hired by Mark Decker to recover his missing childe, Honor Mercer, after she runs away. Following her trail to Indianapolis, they discover her having taken refuge with the Ministry. More is going on than meets the eye, though, with a pair of mysterious FBI agents following her as well as a plot against the Prince of Milwaukee.
Rusted Jungle[]
An attack on the Circulatory System in Chicago results in the player characters being hired by Anita Wainwright or Damien to investigate either the Gary Anarchs or Vanguard (Camarilla loyalists). Pretending to be double agents, they carry out an investigation that eventually reveals that there are many attacks planned against both sides in Chicago proper. They must side with either faction and determine who will rule Gary. Either way, they discover that the real puppet master has been Maxwell all along.
