Kuji-jin are meditative hand gestures with mystical potential used by the Go Kamisori Gama.
Overview[]
Taken from early Buddhist meditation postures, these hand-signs were initially only ways for focusing mental energies. Then, a granddaughter of the Satoh Family founder discovered their true power through a religious obsession with prayer and fasting and the clan realized their magical potential.
These hand-signs serve as foci for a wide range of magical Effects and are, in fact, the only foci the clan uses as they would never want to be caught without the right tools. There are a total of 81 symbols known to the Go Kamisori Gama and the most powerful strengthen the mind and body, mask presence, provide a sense of balance, heal, aid in enduring extreme environments, read minds, channel power through shout or touch, and give enlightenment.
